Mohammed Rahman (Akky as he is known to many) recently returned from his respite break in Lanzarote where he was accompanied by best friend Suhiol.

The 22 year old from Oldham was left disappointed last year when his break had to be postponed last minute due to health reasons so the trip this time round was all the more special and very much the well deserved break he needed.

Keep on running

Posted by admin under General Stories

On Sunday the 18th of April 2010 the first ever Brighton Marathon will be taking place.

Amongst the estimated 10,000 runners will be Trudie Newlove who has chosen to fundraise for Young Heroes .
Trudie from Kilham, Driffield will be running the 26.2 mile course around the coastal city of Brighton and Hove.
The inaugural event which takes place just one week before the well established Virgin London Marathon, is already proving to be incredibly popular with over 1000 places taken within the first hour of going live, including entrants from across the globe; Australia, South Africa and America to name a few.
With such limited places and the vast choice of charities out there, Young Heroes feel truely grateful for Trudie for selecting our charity to fundraise for.
Please support Trudie and help her reach her target of £500 by visiting her Just Giving page
